What’s On Zululand: A New Year’s Eve calendar

IF you still have no idea what to do this New Year’s Eve, a number of social events have been organised across the region to transport Zululanders into the new year.

Ngaba Jive Event 365 (Iniwe)
Master of spin Andy X will head up the entertainment at Ngamla Guest House in Iniwe from 6pm.
The well-known deejay will be sharing the decks with other spinners such as DJ Mo, DJ Amenisto, DJ Kuni, Addict, Bisto, Kurt-Co and Lady C, while Lusanda Mnqayi will set the stage on fire as MC.

New Year’s Celebration – (Sobhuza – eNseleni)
It’s entertainment galore in eNseleni at the New Year’s Celebration shindig at Sobhuza Shisanyama featuring DJ Mo, DJ Effect, DJ Amenisto and maskandi giant Cevuzile.
Durban Gen actor Mthandeni Mbambo, Doomore Cebekhulu and Sibusiso Bhebhe will be part of the event as MCs while musical band Note Motion will contribute musical items.

NYE All White Affair Party (Matshana)
It’s all things white at Gesh Lounge featuring the likes of Cebo Vinyl, GoldMax, Tipcee and Professor.
The New Year’s Eve bash will also feature local acts like DJ Mo, Shebo, Liquid SA, Buse, Mxozet, King Tuko, Mongsta, Mayaya and many others.

New Year’s Day with CeboVinyl and DJ Zakes
The party continues on New Year’s Day at Iniwe with CeboVinyl and DJ Zakes. This one is for the ‘grootmans’ and will be about vinyl spinning between the two musical giants.
