WATCH: Elephant overturns vehicle at iSimangaliso Wetland Park

The incident occurred on Sunday

THE occupants of a vehicle that was overturned by a lone elephant on the Eastern Shores of the iSimangaliso Wetland Park are fortunate to have not sustained any injuries.

The incident occurred earlier today (Sunday) on the road to Cape Vidal.

A vehicle behind the one that was targeted by the elephant captured the ordeal on video, which shows the animal rolling the car onto its roof and swivelling it around before calmly walking off.

There have been elephant sightings aplenty on the Eastern Shores in recent weeks, but this is thought to be the first such incident in the park.
