Zululand Hospice launches shuttle to aid Covid vaccination access

The free service offers residents an opportunity to visit the clinics without having to worry about transport costs

Through funding from The DG Murray Trust, Zululand Hospice Association is providing free transport for community members to travel to clinics for their Covid-19 vaccinations.

The funding made provision to help promote access to vaccinations, and Hospice has rolled out the programme in eNseleni and Mzingazi.

With many families and households already struggling to make ends meet, the free service offers residents an opportunity to visit the clinics without having to worry about transport costs.

As well as the free transport for vaccination access, the service aims to inform and encourage community members to vaccinate, to see more people vaccinated as soon as possible.

The service operates Monday to Friday from 9am to 2.30pm.

Residents can look out for the minibus with the Hospice logo, which is servicing the aforementioned areas daily.
