Next of kin sought by police

Esikhaleni police are looking for the next of kin of a deceased man whose body was found along the N2 near the eSikhaleni turn-off on Friday, 17 September 2021.

eSikhaleni Saps spokesperson Captain Thembinkosi Mkhumane said it appears the deceased was knocked down while trying to cross the N2, and was hit by several cars thereafter.

‘We have tried several avenues to track down his next of kin, but all our efforts are in vain,’ Mkhumane said. ‘He is estimated to be around 40 years of age.’
