KwaZulu Private Ambulance rushed to the scene after receiving reports of a shooting in Margate earlier today (Wednesday).
On arrival, the paramedics found that two victims – a male and a female – in a vehicle had been shot outside a hardware store.
According to Netcare 911 whose paramedics were also on scene, a number of gunmen opened fire on the occupants of the vehicle, which was in the parking lot.
One of the patients had sustained minor injuries and was treated by the paramedics on the scene.
The second succumbed to their wounds before the arrival of the paramedics.
The incident is being investigated by authorities.
