Sassa confirmed that no additional grants have been announced

The South African Social Security Agency (Sassa) is warning members of the public about applications for fake vouchers which are currently doing the rounds.
Sassa confirmed that no additional grants have been announced and these posts on social media are false.

The agency is not offering any poverty alleviation or ‘R700’ grants.
People are urged to never give their identity document information to anyone who poses as a Sassa official and when in doubt, they must visit Sassa offices to confirm or call 0800 601011.
