Miss SA #BeReady campaign to inspire youth
Lalela tackles entreprenuership in hopes to inspire

In an attempt to create an entrepreneurial spirit among the youth, reigning Miss SA Lalela Mswane recently launched her #BeReady advocacy campaign.
Through the campaign, Lalela hopes to inspire the youth to adopt an entrepreneurial attitude and aim to become business owners rather than employees.

She is set to host a monthly edutainment series where she will invite those keen on starting their own businesses, to join her online sessions.
Alongside experts in all areas of business, the series sets out to provide information and tips on how to get a start-up off the ground, and build a business successfully.
Through industry experts she will provide information and tips on how to stay afloat, and maintain sustainable growth.
Showcasing the pitfalls and successes shared by experts and the public, Lalela hopes to ultimately have her own successful and profitable business.
‘I will open my own company, starting with T-Shirts that will feature inspirational messages. I hope people will join me as I learn the basics of how to start a business.
‘From the outset, we will all be learning together,’ she said.
Monthly topics will include: how to draw up a business plan, become compliant and maintain compliance, learn how to market yourself, where to get funding and how to scale a business.
The sessions will be available on both Lalela’s and official Miss South Africa social media platforms.
