Elderly KZN citizens meet the premier
The elderly were reminded of their human rights and why they are important
In a continuation of Human Rights commemorations, KZN Premier Sihle Zikalala on Tuesday hosted a senior citizen’s summit in Hluhluwe.
Commemorating Human Rights Month, the summit aimed to draw attention to the various human rights abuses faced by senior citizens across the province, and shone the spotlight on the rights of the elderly.

Accompanying the premier were Transport Safety and Liaison MEC Neliswa Peggy Nkonyeni, Social Development MEC Nonhlanhla Khoza, Health
MEC Nomagugu Simelane, as well as district and local municipal mayors, traditional leaders, and faith-based leaders.
