Community upliftment organisation Survival Centre distributed meals to families in need to commemorate Human Rights Day.

The charity drive was spearheaded by the NPO’s administrator Leandra Chetty who called on community members to donate funds towards the feeding scheme project.

They distributed chicken briyani to several households in Aquadene and Brackenham, as well as to the homeless in and around Richards Bay CBD.

Survival Centre has been involved in feeding schemes, food parcel drives and blanket donations since the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic, and was made possible through donations and support from local businesses, community leaders and individuals.
