Black Coffee has a lot to celebrate this week after taking a Grammy for his album Subconsciously in the Best Dance/Electric Album category.
Nkosinathi Maphumulo is a South African DJ and producer, and was awarded this Grammy at the 64th Grammy Awards in Las Vegas.
He went up against the likes of Major Lazer, Illenium and Sylvan Esso to take the win.
In his acceptance speech, Black Coffee expressed gratitude to his fans and those who worked with him on the album.
‘I want to thank God for the gift of music and for being able to share it with the world, and heal souls and help people go through whatever they’re going through in life,’ he said.
