Nonto R talks ‘side chicks’ in her comedy special in Empangeni
Comedy giant Nonto R is ready to tickle some funny bones in Zululand
She is beautiful, downright funny … and coming to Zululand!
Comedy giant Nonto R is bringing her Side Chicks Comedy Special as part of Women in Comedy to Empangeni on Tuesday, 26 April at 7.30pm.

Her set is expected to be packed with hilarious material on side chicks, dating and marriage.
‘I’m a married woman with children, and my comedy is always around family,’ she told the Zululand Observer.
‘This time, I’m addressing issues we all know exist – side chicks, wives, husbands, and even main chicks.
‘I haven’t been to Empangeni since 2016, and I’m truly excited about being back. I promise Zululand a killer show packed with surprises.’
Nonto R added that she’s bringing along a few other comedians as surprise guests.
No stranger to the world of comedy, Nonto R is known for her risque jokes and great insights that have seen her become one of the top KZN comedians.
She made a name for herself in the industry locally and internationally, with performances in Thailand, Swaziland and more.
She has also featured in the Mzansi Comedy special, working with other top comedians including Siyanda Maphumulo, Tsoro, Sifiso Nene and Simphiwe Shembe.
