One person sustained moderate injuries when three vehicles were involved in a collision at the R34/N2 intersection today (Tuesday).

The accident occurred at about 3.30pm, and led to a major backlog of traffic during peak hour in both directions.
Mounties EMS attended the scene, and transported the patient to hospital after stabilising her on scene.
The cause of the accident will be investigated by Saps.
