Help the Richards Bay Blood Donor Centre reach its Mandela Week blood drive target
If you were not able to donate your pint of blood on Mandela Day, don’t despair as there is still time to support the Mandela Week blood collection drive under way at the Richards Bay Blood Donor Centre.
Aiming to collect 200 pints of blood by Monday, 25 July, the donor centre urges donors to spare just 30 minutes of their time to help reach the target.
All who donate before Monday stand a chance to win a hamper. So don’t delay, donate blood today!
The Richards Bay Blood Donor Centre at Boardwalk Inkwazi Shopping Centre is open from 9am-5pm on weekdays, and 9am-2pm on Saturdays.
To be an eligible blood donor, one must:
* Be between the ages of 16 and 75
* Weigh 50kg or more
* Be in good health
* Lead a healthy lifestyle
* Consider your blood safe for transfusion to a patient
* Commit to donating blood regularly.
