Zama Nhassengo and Sthandwa Gatsheni win City Slickers Mall Muse 2022

Mall Muse winners are to collaborate with Boardwalk Inkwazi Shopping Centre and work with tenants on a variety of campaigns

LAST Thursday, at the grand finale of City Slickers Mall Muse 2022, Zama Nhassengo and Sthandwa Gatsheni were announced the winners after an exciting four-week journey. For this year’s contest, the entry round was followed by intense interviews of the top 20 candidates.

Top 5 finalists Ntokozo Mthethwa, Sthandwa Gatsheni, Amanda Ndlovu, Zama Nhassengo, and Abdul Zuma

Zululand Observer public relations officer Nokwanda Tema, Icora FM’s Zandile Gumede, Virgin Active’s Siya Majola, and Tracy Moodley interviewed the top 20 and narrowed it down to 10. The top 10 were then challenged to approach tenants at Boardwalk Inkwazi Shopping Centre and create a collaboration video that was uploaded to their social media platforms. The Sunday workshop proved useful in understanding the top 10, and getting a clearer sense of their personalities, goals, and aspirations.

Voting on social media and through The Zululand Observer’s website constituted the final leg of the competition. This year’s entries were exceptional. With over 180 entries, Boardwalk Inkwazi Shopping Centre is delighted with the growth of this campaign over the past year and hopes it continues. Winners walked away with R5 000 in vouchers and a great opportunity to grow. Look out for Zama and Sthandwa on Boardwalk Inkwazi Shopping Centre’s social media platforms!
