A growing family

In 1996, the Felixton College founders were adamant that the new school they dreamed into life would be family-focused, take a holistic approach to educating the whole child, employ excellent teaching staff, and cap their number at 500 to always retain its ‘small school’ status.

Today at Felixton College, around 440 young men and women from Grade RRRR to Grade 12 thrive in small classes under the guidance of highly-experienced teaching staff who understand the value of a modern education, coupled with those original old-school family values and ethics that were so important to our founders.

Solid Roots

Starting at Felixton College Roots, little ones from the ages of 18 months to six are encouraged to play, jump, and splash while undertaking ‘learn-through-play’ exercises designed to promote social, emotional and academic development.

The Grade Rs love to walk across the beautiful Dickson Oval – Felixton College’s hallowed cricket grounds – every week to visit the ‘Big School’, where they enjoy computer and media lessons (alleviating any fears when Grade 1 approaches).

Junior School

The Felixton College family is beyond thrilled to be preparing for the opening of their brand new Junior Primary campus, which is under construction and set to open in the coming term.

This modern campus will provide stunning classroom and play facilities for children in Grades 1 through 7 who continue to punch above their weight with much larger schools in sport, culture and academics.

High School

‘Felixton College takes pride in providing a solid holistic foundation which creates a landscape that not only promotes academic excellence, but also key attributes such as empathy, resilience, perseverance, appreciation and respect, amongst others,’ says Headmaster Wayne Rademan.

This is why Felixton College continues to produce excellent IEB academic results and sporting achievements year upon year.

‘I’m exceptionally proud to be leading Felixton College through this incredible time while honouring the original vision of the founding parents who have placed such trust in us as an extended family.’

Our outstanding pupils promise to ‘Honour God, Honour Others, Honour Self and Honour the Environment’. Click here today to find out how you can join our incredible family.
