ORGANISERS are looking forward to welcoming guests to the Horings & Dorings Hluhluwe Fees 2023. Taking place on the weekend of 26 to 28 May, the festival is a highly anticipated event on the local entertainment calendar.

Some of South Africa’s best artists will be performing, including PJ Powers, Thandeka, Hennie de Bruyn en die Kitaarkêrels, Wikus Botma, Christia Visser, Ivan Roux, Snotkop, Riaan Benade and Kurt Darren.

The annual Farm Jam forms part of the festival and promises to be loads of fun. Get your entries in now – visit www.horingsendorings.co.za, click on ‘forms’, print, fill in and email it back – it’s as easy as that!

Sport fans can also enter the festival’s first ever adventure MTB fun ride and stand in line to win some nice prizes. Entries can be done via www.msem.co.za The first 50 entries receive a free T-shirt.

Come and show off your beard in the Buffelsfontein Beard competition on the Saturday. The Mr & Miss Ananas pageant will also take place on the Saturday, with entries closing on Friday, 26 May.

There will also be a Farm to Beach competition: show off your bull riding skills or your surfing skills at R20 per person. Find Tom and win a prize. Who is Tom? Horings & Dorings Hluhluwe Fees will be an open-air event. Limited tables and chairs will be supplied, but festival-goers are welcome to bring their own to avoid disappointment.

Children under 12 get in free. Dienkie en Doedels will entertain them on the Saturday, and for the rest of the weekend they will be well taken care of in the kids’ zone.
