Life Empangeni Private Hospital hosts insightful Maternity Open Day

Parents-to-be had the chance to connect with healthcare professionals and learn more about Life Empangeni Private Hospital's modern maternity and NICU facilities.

In commemoration of Pregnancy Awareness Week, Life Empangeni Private Hospital hosted its annual Maternity Open Day.

The day involved a variety of informative talks, interactive activities, games and prizes for attendees.

Hospital Manager Jithen Seeparsad opened the day by welcoming the parents-to-be and informing them about Life Empangeni Private Hospital’s modern maternity and NICU facilities, promising some of the best care in the region.

The event featured insightful presentations by resident gynaecologist & obstetrician, Dr. Nonjabulo Dladla.

A range of other topics by healthcare professionals were also covered, such as pain management, a baby bath demonstration, antenatal care and exercise during pregnancy.

Expecting parents had the opportunity to ask questions and tour the maternity unit, gaining first-hand insight into the facilities and care available.

The day was not only educational, but also fun and interactive, making it a memorable occasion for all attendees.

This open day was a fantastic way for parents-to-be to learn and connect with healthcare professionals, gaining a wealth of information regarding their pregnancy journey, and how Life Empangeni Private Hospital remains committed to making life better for them along the way.
