KZN in line for first female premier

Three women will undergo interviews to find Sihle Zikalala's replacement

WOMEN’S Month took on a whole new meaning on Friday as three female candidates were nominated to be in the running to succeed Sihle Zikalala as KZN premier.

Nomusa Dube-Ncube, Amanda Bani and Mbali Fraizer are said to be going for interviews tomorrow (Saturday).

This after Thursday night’s abrupt resignation of Zikalala.

“Zikalala offered the Provincial Executive Committee (PEC) his resignation, which was accepted,” said ANC

Provincial Secretary Bheki Mtolo.

“The PEC communicated with ANC national officials and were instructed to make recommendations of three names of comrades who will undergo interviews,” he said.
