Firearm amnesty open day in Bay

RICHARDS Bay SAPS will host an open day on Saturday from 8am to 3pm to deal with enquiries relating to the firearm amnesty.

Police officials will be available to receive firearms for destruction, voluntary surrender, expired licenses, unlicensed firearms and attend to all general enquiries.

The public must note that the amnesty period, which started on 1 August, will end at the end of January. For more information, phone 035 9012561 or 035 9012477.
