Woman arrested for murder at KwaMsane

A woman (27) was arrested at KwaMsane for murder on Sunday after a man (31) who succumbed to a wound, inflicted by a sharp object, was declared dead at the local clinic.

Police spokesperson, Captain Sbusiso Mkhize said the woman was arrested immediately after the murder was reported to the local police.

“The arrested suspect is expected to appear at the KwaMsane Magistrate’s Court, facing a charge of murder today (5 June),” Mkhize said.

uMkhanyakude District SAPS Commissioner Major General Mduduzi Shezi applauded the police for the arrest and condemned killings in the district.
