Apply for your passport through these SA banks

If you are planning a trip overseas and are hesitant to tackle the long queues at Home Affairs, certain South African banks offer passport applications and renewals as an added service.

This takes a whole lot of hassle out of the process, especially in light of Home Affairs’ current technological difficulties, rendering the system offline.

These banks report that the passport service takes 15 days from application to collection.

Subject to region and branches, the following banks offer this service: FNB, Nedbank, Absa and Standard Bank.
