Man taken in for questioning in connection with missing Sodwana Bay skipper

'Person of interest' located, taken to Manguzi for questioning in connection with the missing John Matambu

IN news just in, uMkhanyakude District police have confirmed a person of interest in the missing Sodwana Bay skipper case has been found and taken in for questioning.

At this stage, it is unclear if he was apprehended by police or found by community members, but he is in the custody of police and has been taken to Manguzi.

Earlier this morning (Wednesday), as the search for the missing John Matambu entered its fourth day, uMkhanyakude District police spokesperson Captain Justice Hlabisa confirmed with the Zululand Observer that a man was wanted by police for questioning relating to the missing person’s case.

At the time of publication, Matambu was still missing.
