The catch-and-release fishing competition will be held on 28 and 29 September at the Meerensee black bass pan in Richards Bay

Fishermen are invited to enter the first annual black bass catch-and-release fishing competition. It will be held at the Meerensee black bass pan on 28 and 29 September.

The entry fee is R300 per angler or R150 per boat (no petrol motors allowed). Entry forms are available from Gian Ferraris via Whatsapp: 082 565 2013. Proceeds will go towards restocking the pan with black bass and Mozambican tilapia fingerlings.

With nice prizes for the biggest catches and flea market stalls, this promises to be a fun event for the whole family.
