Service delivery tensions rise

City responds to service delivery issues as ratepayers raise their frustrations

The City of uMhlathuze says it is actively working to address several service delivery lags.

“However all the areas will be cut, and those not done yet will be covered in March,” said Botha.

This follows questions by irate ratepayers about the municipality’s ability to deliver basic services.

“How are we paying so much when we are not getting the services we are expected to pay for?” one resident stated.
