Jozini mayor and exco axed

The Jozini mayor has just a few days to leave his mayoral office after the IFP on Saturday announced the expulsion of all of its exco members on the Jozini council.

According to an IFP source in Jozini, the outgoing mayor, Mfananaye Mathe, and his executive members are expected to be replaced before the end of next week.

This latest development was welcomed by the ANC, which is the official opposition in the municipality…
