Zululand creative shines at popular Durban shindig

Zululand's 'Cthe-k' taking the entertainment industry by storm

Zululand’s Sthembiso Khumalo, popularly known as ‘Cthe-k’ by his adoring fans, recently electrified a Durban crowd at the Freshers Welcome Bash.

Taking the entertainment industry by storm, the proud KwaDlangezwa talent is known for his unique and versatile dance moves.

Breaking the moulds of maskandi, he uniquely interprets the genre through dance, as opposed to the traditional ‘indlamu’ dance moves.

Adding dimension to his CV, Sthembiso is a true artist, a self-taught gqom producer and DJ who credits his mentors – Option Isaac from eSikhaleni and DJ Raybell – for their invaluable role in making him a success.

A force to be reckoned with, he has shared the stage with certified gqom royalty, DJ Goldmax and Mgilane.

“I know with the pace I’m travelling and with God by my side, I will reach my destination. It is just a matter of time,” he said.
