Bitterly cold temps sweep across South Africa as snow falls on Sani Pass

As forecast earlier this week, the cold front hit KZN with snow falling on the peaks of the Drakensberg mountains

As the forecast cold front grips South Africa, with wind and wave warnings in place, here is a list of the country’s coldest towns this (Wednesday) morning.

While no towns in South Africa recorded zero or below, Lesotho recorded -5 degrees C at AfriSki, with snow falling at the top of Sani Pass, as reported by Sani Pass Tours.
