‘Bogus attorney’ accused to apply for bail
Man to appear in eSikhaleni court on fraud charge for allegedly pretending to be an attorney
A man who has reportedly been misrepresenting himself as an attorney is due to apply for bail in the eSikhawini Magistrate’s Court on Friday.
The accused (34) faces a charge of fraud after having been practising as an independent attorney without admission as such since 2022.
He is believed to have represented several clients, including three accused, in court in matters relating to serious crimes of trafficking in persons, rape, kidnapping, and assault of a minor.
