All systems go for Pelican Island reopening
Strict control measures for Pelican Island ahead of official reopening this weekend
Preparations are under way for the official reopening of Pelican Island this weekend.
The popular recreational spot will have a controlled gate which has been set up ahead of Sunday’s reopening.
With an influx of visitors expected on the day, only 75 vehicles, each containing five people, will be allowed between 6am and 6pm daily.
