Off-duty Hluhluwe cop caught with seven stolen cows in Dundee

Hluhluwe police constable nabbed for stock theft while off-duty, found with seven cows and firearm in Dundee

A Hluhluwe SAPS member was on Wednesday apprehended in the Dundee area for stock theft.

According to a police source, the constable in question was off duty when he was arrested by civilians who found him with seven cows and alerted the local police.

It has been reported that the constable was in possession of a firearm at the time of his arrest.

As at Thursday morning, the suspect was still being processed, and a docket is pending registration at Dundee SAPS.
