New creche breaks ground, promising quality early learning

uMlalazi Municipality and Divine Life Society partner to build Ukukhanyakufikile Creche, boosting education for local youngsters.

Youngsters will benefit from the construction of Ukukhanyakufikile Creche in Emanyameni in Ward 21, with the official sod-turning last Wednesday.

uMlalazi Mayor Queen Xulu conducted the ceremony for this milestone project, which is a collaborative effort between uMlalazi Municipality and Divine Life Society.

The municipality’s vision is to create a thriving and sustainable community, where every individual has access to quality education, healthcare and economic opportunities.

This aligns with Divine Life Society’s vision to promote holistic development and well-being through education, healthcare and community empowerment.

Xulu expressed her gratitude to the community for their patience and understanding.

“We acknowledge the delays, but we’re thrilled to finally break ground on this project. This creche will provide a solid foundation for our youngest learners, setting them up for a lifetime of learning and growth.”
