Jozini Municipality strives for a cleaner town

Jozini Municipality has embarked on a clean-up campaign of all towns and shopping centres under its jurisdiction.

This campaign coincided with a commemoration of World Environment Day last Thursday.

It was attended by neighbouring municipalities, including uMhlabuyalingana and Big 5 Hlabisa, representatives from the departments of economic development, tourism and environmental affairs, and forestry, fisheries and the environment, as well as community members.

The officials started their clean-up campaign around street vendors’ stalls in Jozini, continuing in Mbambanana the following day.
