Two die after bakkie overturns on R34

Two people died and several were injured after the bakkie in which they were being transported overturned on the R34 near Gluckstadt.

The single-vehicle roll-over occurred at about 4pm on Tuesday afternoon.

KwaZulu Private Ambulance attended the scene, with paramedics working swiftly to stabilise the injured before transporting them to various hospitals for further medical care.

Apart from the two fatalities, one person was critically injured, three sustained serious injuries and a further six suffered minor injuries.
