Search continues for Richards Bay drown victim

Search and recovery operations are still ongoing for the body of a man who drowned in Lake Mzingazi near Mandlazini on Friday.

A missing persons case was opened for Juma Tumewu Langa after it was believed he drowned while swimming back to shore after the boat he was in capsized.

Community worker Sharon Mdletshe said the man was a builder and was busy with peace jobs. He had asked someone with a boat for a lift across the lake with his brother.

When the boat capsized, the brothers swam across but Juma was missing when they reached the shore.
