Empangeni children’s hospice thrift store set to open

Don't miss the grand opening of Butterfly Palliative Home's 'The Thrift' store this Saturday

Butterfly Palliative Home in Empangeni is having a grand opening for their thrift store this weekend.

‘The Thrift’ store is opening this Saturday, 30 August from 10am to 5pm at 1 Eland Crescent, Nyala Park, Empangeni.

There will be hand-crafted goods, delicious coffee and pre-loved clothes for sale.

Proceeds from the store will go towards the home’s little butterflies: young children with severe disabilities and life-limiting conditions for end-of-life care.

“Every purchase helps create sustainable income for Butterfly Palliative Home, so while you hunt for treasures, you will also be helping us care for vulnerable children with life-limiting conditions,” said Butterfly Home co-founder Tarryn Bell.
