Inter-provincial collaboration to strengthen agricultural knowledge

Agriculture and Rural Development MEC Thembeni KaMadlopha-Mthethwa leads engagements in Western Cape

Official visits are under way to strengthen relations between agricultural departments in the Western Cape and KZN.

Agriculture and Rural Development MEC Thembeni KaMadlopha-Mthethwa, as well as the head of department and chief director are visiting the Western Cape Department of Agriculture at Elsenburg College.

“These engagements aim to promote interprovincial learning and collaboration, particularly in agricultural best practices, rural development strategies, and institutional development.

“The visit also marks an important step towards fostering a more integrated approach to agricultural development across provinces, ultimately contributing to improved service delivery and sustainable rural growth,” explains the department’s spokesperson, Vusi Khumalo.
