Richards Bay SPCA pleads for food donations
Local SPCA branch in desperate need of food for dogs and cats in its care
RICHARDS Bay SPCA on Thursday issued a clarion call to the community for desperate assistance in feeding the animals in its care.
“Our shelter is bursting with hungry mouths, and right now we are completely out of food. With so many animals in our care, every bag truly makes a difference,” said SPCA chairperson Engela Hamman.

“Thank you to our wonderful community who always steps in to help – you are the reason these animals survive.
“Even the smallest bag of food can mean a full tummy for a dog in need, comfort for a rescue waiting for a forever home, and sometimes, the first proper meal in weeks.
“Please open your hearts – and shopping bags – every donation counts.”
Food items can be dropped off at Richards Bay SPCA in Meerensee.
“Together, we can make sure no paw goes hungry.” Follow the Richards Bay SPCA on Facebook.
