WATCH: Emergency services respond swiftly to Mtunzini house fire

Mtunzini house fire quickly contained, no reported injuries to residents or pets

A Mtunzini home sustained significant damage after a fire broke just after 5pm on Sunday.

The uMlalazi Fire Department arrived 45 minutes after being called. The blaze affected one portion of the family home.

A bystander reported that no injuries were sustained by either the family or their pets.

Members of the CPF, Alpha, and Mtunzini paramedics responded promptly and worked together to manage the situation.

‘Bakkie sakkies’ later arrived on site to assist the many first responders attending the scene.
