Skeletal remains found in Richards Bay greenbelt

Investigation under way following discovery of skeletal remains in Richards Bay

The police in Richards Bay are on scene in Weigelia Street, Veldenvlei, where skeletal remains, believed to be human, were discovered at about 8.3.0am today (Tuesday) in the greenbelt.

The bones were discovered by a security guard who was passing by. The KZN Department of Health Forensic Services are also on scene.

This follows another gruesome discovery of a skull and other human bones in the heart of the Meerensee shopping precinct last month.

This is a developing story.
