Another mamba morning for Richards Bay snake catcher

Richards Bay-based snake catcher Peter ‘Daring’ Daniel safely captured a 2.3m black mamba on Saturday morning at a house near Redding Dam, just north of Empangeni.

“Nice way to start the day with a beautiful 2.3m black mamba. Very easy catch, no issues,” reported Daniel.

This follows a 1.8m green mamba last Monday morning; a catch he was called out to at a complex in Meerensee.

The accomplished snake handler warned that ‘snakes are starting to kick off’.
