New academy launched in region a plus for education

School offers grades R to matric for the community of eBomvni in Ngwelezane

Parents and learners rejoiced as Empangeni Academy officially opened its doors to the public on Friday.

Established in 2018, the school offers grades R to matric for the community of eBomvni in Ngwelezane.

Praising the academy’s quality education, Lungile Luthuli said she introduced her three children to the school because of its Christian values.

“This is a good school, learners grasp everything quickly, and the way they conduct teaching is good for the pupils, which is evident through the results my children achieve,” said Luthuli.

Echoing these sentiments, Sebenzile Mbatha said her children have been at the school since its inception in 2018.
