Watch: Chaos erupts at community imbizo

THE first instalment of the RBM community imbizo began on a chaotic note as community members interrupted a speaker on the podium, calling him a ‘thief’.

Martin Mbuyazi was elaborating on the purpose of the meeting when a handful of community members erupted in song and walked out of the venue.

This event marks the first in a series of izimbizo to be hosted by RBM in partnership with its host communities.

The event was also attended by suspended Police Minister Senzo Mchunu.

The controversial Mchunu and RBM relationship has been topical at the ongoing Madlanga Commission, where it is alleged that he used State resources to give special protection to RBM.
