KZN government inspects state of readiness for 2025 National Senior Certificate (NSC) final examinations

With just 15 days before the start of the 2025 National Senior Certificate (NSC) final examinations, government is ensuring everything is set for this year’s matrics.

KZN Premier Thami Ntuli and Education MEC Sipho Hlomuka will today (Tuesday) conduct an oversight visit to the provincial examination paper printing centre in Durban.

Here, they will assess the province’s state of readiness, ensuring all security protocols are firmly in place ahead of the exams.

The premier and MEC will evaluate the centre’s security measures, inspect operational processes, and verify logistical systems for the printing, packaging and secure distribution of examination papers to all districts across KwaZulu-Natal.

The Department of Education has reaffirmed that strict protocols remain in place to prevent any possible leaks or irregularities, ensuring the 2025 examination process runs smoothly and fairly for all candidates.
