Young eSikhaleni beauty crowned first princess

11-year-old shines at Miss and Mr Masakhane pageant

LOCAL beauty Enama Mthembu (11), was crowned First Princess at the recent Miss and Mr Masakhane competition, along with nabbing the title of Ambassador.

A member of Trelique Models International, Enama is a Grade 6 pupil at Empangeni Preparatory School who lives in eSikhawini, Kwandaya Reserve.

“I felt really happy and grateful for these awards. Thank you so much to Trelique International Modelling Agency and the pageant hosts for giving me the chance to walk the stage and express myself. I’m also very thankful to all my lovely supporters,” said Enama, whose dream is to one day be a firefighter.

“Some people find it a bit strange, but I like it because I want to help people, and I’ve learned that there aren’t enough firefighters in South Africa, especially in KZN.”

Enama looks forward to her next pageant which will be Miss KZN Angels in Durban this November.
