Farewell to trailblazer electrical engineer

Electrical engineer 'Japie' Le Grange hailed for unwavering loyalty and trustworthy service to uMlalazi Municipality

After 23 dedicated years with uMlalazi Municipality, electrical engineer ‘Japie’ Le Grange has bid farewell.

Mayor Queen Xulu hailed his unwavering loyalty and trustworthy service, describing him as a pillar of professionalism and commitment within the municipality.

“His contribution to the development and service delivery in uMlalazi will not be forgotten. His legacy will continue to inspire those who follow,” said Xulu.

Municipal manager Njabulo Shandu also paid tribute to Le Grange for his remarkable work ethic, often working odd hours to ensure projects were completed on time and to the highest standard.

He urged other municipal employees to emulate his commitment and passion for service.
