Drone security on agenda at CPF AGM in Richards Bay

Community invited to attend the Meerensee CPF AGM from 6pm at Richards Bay Primary School

Aerial surveillance will be in the spotlight this Wednesday as collaborative security efforts are highlighted at the Meerensee CPF AGM.

The community is invited to attend the AGM from 6pm at Richards Bay Primary School’s hall, 43 Grunter Gully, Meerensee.

Guest speaker, Tom Kruger, director at Hussar Security & Defence Solutions, will talk about the expansion of preventative and response drone operations, and ways the CPF can facilitate.

“The expansion will include setting up a network of docked stations across the area, which will be centrally operated, and feed into community requests for flights and emergencies, and establish the baseline operational framework for the wider safer city concept,” said Kruger.

“The idea will be that the drones provide first responders, flights, and it is all coordinated within the broader public safety and private security network,” said Kruger.
