The run will start at 3pm at the Short Pier at Alkanstrand, and is a fundraiser for their feline friends.

PFC works to control stray cat populations in Richards Bay, Empangeni and surrounding areas by trapping, neutering and releasing cats back into their territories.

The NPO is headed by Heilke Ackermann and supported by a dedicated team of volunteers who feed numerous colonies of sterilised cats, and they need the public’s help in the form of cat food or cash donations.

Entry fees for the run are cat food, blankets or monetary donations. Animals are also welcome to join.
