Zululand Hospice Association (ZHA) will light up the night at their Tree of Light ceremony next month.

This annual event on the region’s calendar will be held on Thursday, 4 December at 5.45pm at the ZO grounds at 3 Baines Road, Empangeni.

For more than 30 years, the ZHA has brought the community together with its annual ceremony where everyone lights a candle and gathers around the Tree of Light, offering prayers to loved ones lost.

It’s a special evening for the whole family, leaving children enchanted by the brightly lit tree.

Proceeds will support palliative care patients that ZHA cares for.

The enchanting voices of the Unizulu choir will set the tone, and briyani will be on sale. Pre-meal tickets can be bought at the ZHA’s charity shop at 18 Turnbull Street.

Cultivate Coffee Co’s delicious coffee will also be available.

Entry fee is R20 per family and candles are R10.
