Rotary fires up the festive spirit at SPCA

Rotary gives Empangeni SPCA reason to celebrate with upgraded braai area

CHRISTMAS came early for Empangeni SPCA, which received a staff braai upgrade from the Rotary Club of Empangeni recently.

“The Rotary Club of Empangeni received a request from a concerned citizen who wanted to improve the staff braai area,” said club president Andrew Killick.

“The community often sees the SPCA as a source of rabies vaccinations and forgets the staff who offer up their time – even on public holidays – to collect stray animals. We’re sure the staff will enjoy their year-end braai,” he said.

The formal handover took place last week and the Empangeni SPCA thanked the club for their kind sponsorship.
