Golfers can give Sherize a fighting chance

Community encouraged to support local fighter who will compete in the International Mixed Martial Arts Federation World Championships


Richards Bay’s Sherize Verster is focused on fundraising after being selected to represent South Africa at the IMMAF (International Mixed Martial Arts Federation) World Championships in Georgia from 1 to 7 November.

Her goal to get the R60 000 needed to cover the costs of entry fees, travel, accommodation and equipment includes a golf competition on Saturday, 8 August at the Richards Bay Country Club.

Entry fee is R350 per person for the 4-ball alliance betterball stableford event, and tee box sponsorship is available at R1 000 per tee.
